Golf Pro am at Kippie Lodge, Cults, Aberdeen

SCOTLAND rugby legends Gavin and Scott Hastings were among the celebrities that helped to raise almost £50,000 at the 35th charity Pro-Cel-Am golf tournament in Aberdeen.The brothers, part of the famous 1990 Grand Slam winning team, were joined by eight time champion jockey Peter Scudamore at the Peterculter Golf Club.

They mixed with a number of local golfers before a gala dinner at Kippie Lodge with the overall event generating £47,000 for children's medical research charity Sparks and CLAN Cancer Support.

Apex Tubulars was the main event partner while Grampian Continental, Senergy and Tam International also pledged their support.A series of auction items included a track day with Glynn Geddie in Apex Ferrari 458 race car and a print of the late great Seve Ballesteros complete with an original signature.
